You may be able to walk and chew gum at the same time, but soon you may not be allowed to walk and listen to your iPod while crossing a street in New York City. That’s because Sen. Carl Kruger says when people are using iPods and other portable devices, they are not aware of their surroundings. Three people were killed crossing streets in Brooklyn and Manhattan while listening to music players.
“All three were fatally injured. In one case people, were screaming at the person to watch out, but the person couldn’t hear them because iPod [headphones] were in the person’s ears.”
Should the Police be able to fine people $100 (£50), and make them appear infront of a court for using iPods and MP3 players? What would you do if they started this in Britain? Give us your comments!
PA company in Holland have made a rollable display with
amazing FOLDING SCREENS! The technology is pretty new and this piece of equipment, the first finished product, could revolutionize the way we look at not only the internet and computer applications, but also books, magazines and newspapers. Using these screens we could soon see the end of static schoolbooks, and we could be reading and writing on LCD screens that roll up into a handheld device. I wonder how much they cost though?
