The scientists and crew on board the RV Tangaroa affectionately called this fish “Mr Blobby”.
There’s an awesome new Flash site by Paul Neave. It shows the earth in full photographic glory, and has much better detail for Herefordshire than any other single map website.
It sources its images from 6 of the largest online map websites and mixes them together to get the best detail of anywhere on earth. It’s like an online Google Earth, but better!

The ICT department has another student offering invaluable enthusiasm in return for some guidance and advise. Mr Birmingham has a degree in media studies (Journalism) and we look forward to seeing his expertise in this area.

Google is not only one of the best search engines on the net, but is now a very handy 3D modeling company. Google has created 3D Warehouse where you can produce many different 3D shapes. This piece of software is that good you can design your house and post it on Google Earth!
Don’t worry - the software is free and requires no registration. Be aware - there are 2 versions. Downloading the Pro version could cost you £259!! Make sure you have chosen the free version!

Google has also started to rival our friend Bill Gates by creating their own version of a spreadsheet. Google Spreadsheet allows you to share your documents with friends and family online! Handy too for world travelling as you can access your files anywhere in the world.
